“If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them” – Bruce Lee

Growing up, I was always a good student in the classroom. It wasn’t until my junior year in high school when I found love for the game of football. The high school that I went to had lots of negative influence surrounding the school with gangs, violence, drugs, etc. You never knew what was going to happen at any given moment.

I used football to keep myself out of trouble and also because I loved the game. The game was new to me and I picked up on the terms and things like that really fast. I was fortunate and blessed with a full ride scholarship to the University of Washington where I was able to continue to play the game of football.
